Police investigating double-fatal, fiery Jamestown Twp. crash Sentinel Staff JAMESTOWN TWP. — Two people died in a fiery crash involving a tanker-truck and a car on M-6, just east of Eighth Avenue in Jamestown Township early Sunday morning. Since the 5:25 a.m. crash, officials said the accident was fatal for both drivers. According to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, a tanker-truck rolled over on the westbound lanes of M-6. When deputies arrived at the scene, both the tanker-truck and another vehicle that struck the tanker-truck were fully involved in flames. First responders were unable to get to the drivers. Once the fire was extinguished, police located one driver in each vehicle, both of whom were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities are being withheld pending family notification.
