Date Time Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Moonie The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a woman died in a single-vehicle crash on the Moonie Highway this morning. At 8:50am, police were called to the scene, about eight kilometres west of Moonie, after reports a white Mitsubishi utility had rolled. Initial investigations indicate the driver of this vehicle swerved to avoid wildlife. Sadly, attempts to revive a 48-year-old woman from Dalyellup, Western Australia, were unsuccessful and she was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 46-year-old man was airlifted to the Toowoomba Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Two juvenile passengers were also airlifted to the Toowoomba Hospital for treatment of minor lacerations.
