Route 8 south is closed between Exits 27 and 26 because of the crash. It was first reported by the CTDOT at 9:13 a.m. Around 9:30 p.m., state police confirmed the crash at Exit 26. “Plan your commute accordingly,” police urged drivers. There was no immediate word on possible injuries.
