Police seize $163K worth of fentanyl from Timmins residence

Four people were arrested and charged after police executed a search warrant at a Timmins residence and seized 271.8 grams of fentanyl worth an estimated street value of $163,000.
In addition to the fentanyl, police also seized a loaded 9 mm handgun and approximately $5,000 in Canadian currency.

The search warrant was executed on Friday at a Pine Street North residence, according to a release issued by the Timmins Police Service on Tuesday. Drug enforcement unit officers with TPS were accompanied by members of the TPS emergency response team and local Ontario Provincial Police.
