Researchers suggest others lead the charge for encouraging people to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Kate Brown is not the one who should be encouraging unvaccinated Oregonians to get their COVID-19 vaccine shot. Researcher Benjamin Clark, with the university's School of Planning, Public Policy and Management, said the data shows someone else should lead the charge. “For the people who are not vaccinated, the governor is one of the least trusted sources of information," Clark said. "That’s not to say that Governor Brown has been doing anything that we are pointing out as wrong but rather for the people we’re trying to get through right now – there are better messengers than the governor herself."
