A pampered Cumbrian pooch will be starring in a new BBC series searching for Britain’s best dog groomer. Ogo, an adorable three-year-old miniature poodle, revelled in the attention that he received whilst on the set of Pooch Perfect. The BBC series will be debuting on television tonight at 8pm. The young Ogo is no stranger to the spotlight, having made an appearance as a model demonstration dog at Crufts in March. The BBC series will see 16 professional dog groomers battle it out to be crowned the nation’s top dog groomer and win the Golden Stanley trophy – Stanley being the stage name of rescue dog Ponti, who will be keeping presenter Sheridan Smith OBE company on screen.
