A woman who lived in the house was treated at an area hospital for facial injuries. The State Fire Marshal was on site Friday. It was the second blaze that firefighters in the county had to deal with on Thursday. Fire also damaged a house in Gnadenhutten. John Bourne, chief of the Delaware Valley Joint Fire District in Port Washington, said his department was dispatched at 9:39 p.m. Thursday to the explosion on Fillman Bottom Road. When firefighters arrived on scene, they found the house on fire. There was debris from the explosion up to 300 feet away. The cause of the explosion is unknown at this time, Bourne said.
