During a conference call on fourth-quarter 2020 earnings, POSCO said it will seek to achieve 102 trillion won in aggregate sales in 2023. POSCO's global infrastructure business will account for 51 trillion won, followed by steelmaking accounting for 46 trillion won and new growth engines, encompassing hydrogen and electric vehicle (EV) materials, accounting 5 trillion won. The conglomerate said it will accomplish the target by improving synergy between its LNG, food and eco-friendly construction affiliates. For its steel business, POSCO will focus on materials for advanced mobility and eco-friendly products, while saving costs to improve overall profitability.
