Prosecutors in the case against Lori Vallow and her husband Chad Daybell revealed this week that investigators are examining blood found in an apartment that may be connected to the disappearance and death of 16-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old JJ Vallow. The disclosures were made in connection to a hearing this week regarding the testing of evidence. In the filing, Wood says that a state lab is analyzing tools taken from Chad Daybell’s property in Rexburg, Idaho–where the children were found buried in June 2020–as well as a blood sample collected from an apartment. “On April 12, 2021, the State received the results of DNA analysis of debris found on tools that were seized from Chad Daybell’s property,” Wood wrote in the filing, according to EastIdahoNews.com. Wood said that he has also received report “regarding a possible blood sample from an apartment that would require consumptive testing to test the DNA.”
