JAMESTOWN, ND. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Post 14 Eagles lost for the first time in the West Region this season on Tuesday as the Dickinson Volunteers defeated Jamestown 4-3 in game one before the Eagles crushed Dickinson 14-1 in game two. The Eagles got on the scoreboard in the first inning behind a leadoff single from Gage Orr, who eventually came around to score on a passed ball. The Jamestown offense struggled against the Dickinson pitching staff, etching just four total hits while leaving ten runners on base. Isaac Mimong had a 1-for-1 game with a double and a walk, and Nolan Nenow scored two runs as the courtesy runner for Mimong.
