In a new release from LES, the company says “The extreme cold and rising price of natural gas are currently causing a strain on the utility’s electrical generating resources and other utilities in the region. To help lower the electric system load, LES asks customers to voluntarily implement the following tips to help reduce their use during this time.” Set your thermostat at 68 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and 60 degrees at night or when you are away from home for more than four hours.
