They worked tirelessly in extremely difficult and dangerous conditions ensuring the safety of residents and property. Thanks also to the local volunteer Flood Wardens who checked on the safety of vulnerable residents in the early hours and provided ongoing support in the following days. I also want to thank Splash Magic at Plas Madoc, and Ysgol St Dunawd who provided an evacuation centre and command post, respectively.
