Premier forever in Ardern's shadow January 3, 2021 — 12.05am Normal text size Advertisement Parnell McGuinness praises Gladys Berejiklian to the skies for her handling of the pandemic ("Premier should top the pops", December 27), but I find it strange how she glosses so easily over the serious acts by this same Premier revealed by ICAC earlier this year. Not so many years ago a NSW premier was forced to resign after he had committed the sin of forgetting that he had been given a bottle of wine. We also have the case of the different treatment of the Victorian Premier's failings (Letters, December 27). There must be some reason for the difference in the treatment of the behaviour of these three premiers but while we try to work it out I would like to assure our Premier that, no, the people of NSW haven't all forgotten.
