(WDAM) _ The United States Forest Service’s Chickasawhay Ranger District will be conducting a prescribed burn Saturday covering 2,139 acres in Greene County. Smoke from the burn may affect Mississippi 42 as well as Piave Plaza and West Salem roads. Forest Service Road 207, also known as Fred Smith Road, also may be affected.
