The Prince Albert Royals split their road double header against the White Butte Broncos on Saturday in Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League AA action. The Royals lost the first matchup of the day in a tight 9-8 game but redeemed themselves later that afternoon with a commanding 20-8 victory against the White Butte Broncos. After this weekend’s double header, the Royals move to 12-7-1 on the year. In the first game, the Royals were holding on before the Broncos went ahead in the bottom of the sixth inning after the game was tied at eight a piece. The Royals finished the game with nine hits. Ben Lefebvre, Jack Mortimer, and Brady Robin each contributed numerous hits for Royals.
