On March 11, Cannons LC head coach Sean Quirk will get to draft the first group of players for the newest team in the Premier Lacrosse League. Technically Monday's blockbuster that saw the club acquire former Boston Cannons great Paul Rabil represents the first personnel move in the club's history, but the Expansion Draft is when the roster will truly take shape. As such, each of the league's other seven clubs was required to submit protected rosters to the league Sunday night. In the 18-round draft, Quirk can take a maximum of three players from each team in the league. Those clubs protected 14 players each, and each team had to protect at least one goalie.
