MOTORISTS are being advised a temporary speed limit will be in place on a main road in Wrexham near where a landslip occurred. A section of the footpath running parallel to Newbridge Road in Newbridge collapsed down an embankment during the recent Storm Christoph. And in a public notice published in Friday's Leader, Wrexham Council says that from March 1 a temporary 30mph speed limit will be in place on the road from its junction with A5 Holyhead Road at Whitehurst travelling northbound for a distance of 850 metres to its junction with Pentre Village Road. This is to allow for vehicles being used in the repair works of the landslip to safely enter and exit the site.
