Justin Papps, 49, is leaving the firm for a venture backed by the Sayers Group. Mr Papps, who will depart in August, was a founding member of PwC’s Chief Marketing Officer Advisory practice since 2016. His previous roles include being the group head of communications at QBE Insurance. Mr Papps has also spent time as an executive director at Singleton Ogilvy and Mather, and as a general manager Whybin TBWA.(Source: Mi3) Kathryn Illy, 46, will move from PwC to a new role at Destination NSW as the general manager of consumer marketing. She will be responsible for overseeing the Sydney and NSW brands. Ms Illy, currently a director of brand and marketing at PwC, will take up the new role on May 10.
