Quebec moves up second doses of AstraZeneca vaccine

Quebec is reducing the interval between doses for the AstraZeneca vaccine to eight weeks, Health Minister Christian Dubé announced on Thursday.
Shortening the delay goes against previous recommendations to wait at least 12 weeks between doses, but the province’s immunization committee says it will have little effect on the vaccine’s efficacy.
