ROCKY MOUNT – In a partnership with Cary Medical Management (CMM), Quest Diagnostics will open a patient service center and a rapid response laboratory adjacent to the Rocky Mount Family Medical Center later this year, its first center in the eastern region of North Carolina. The collaboration is aimed at increasing operating efficiency and reducing costs for patients and providers, according to Quest Diagnostics. And, it could be the beginning of a more expansive partnership between the two firms, the statement indicated. “We are excited about our partnership with CMM to help improve the quality of care in Eastern North Carolina,” said Alan Myers, vice president and general manager, south region, at Quest Diagnostics. “Our work with CMM is critical to addressing the growing need for quality health services in the region.”
