That will not happen after the two-game series against the UT Arlington Mavericks was postponed on Wednesday due to COVID-19 concerns within the Lady Mavs’ basketball program. The Ragin’ Cajuns were scheduled to play UT Arlington on Friday, Jan. 15, at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 4 p.m. in the Cajundome. Louisiana head basketball coach Garry Brodhead released the following statement on the postponement: “It is unfortunate that we now have a second conference series postponed, but the health and wellness of all involved continues to be our top priority. Our team will prepare for a return to competition as we look ahead to our series at Arkansas State next weekend.”
