DES MOINES, Iowa -- All this rain will turn into snow overnight. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory beginning at 1 a.m. Monday and ending at 4 p.m. "It's going to be actually a gradient across the metro," said National Weather Service Meteorologist Andrew Ansorgee. "We're seeing rain changing to snow probably towards or if not after midnight tonight, and so areas on the southern side of Polk County might see maybe zero to one inches, and on the northern side of Polk County, up toward Story County it could be one to three inches of wet snowfall."
