RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS: Moore business taking part in national campaign to spread kindness one act at a time

A business in Moore is taking part in a national campaign called The Kindness Revolution to spread kindness one act at a time. The campaign, which kicked off last week by a couple who runs a Farmers Insurance group, aims to do nice things for other people. "Everyone needs a little kindness throughout their life," Courtney Davis said. "So, if you can brighten someone's day, that's great."It's a simple idea the couple hopes will not only spread through Moore but the rest of Oklahoma. If you get a certain card, it means someone has completed an act of kindness for you. All you have to do is pay it forward."Buy them a coffee, send an encouraging note to somebody," Davis said. "It doesn't have to cost anything, or it can cost something. It doesn't matter."And the campaign is already working. A woman shared her good deed at a Braum's."If we could just flood the community with all these acts of kindness and just keep it going, it helps everybody have a better community," Davis said.To top it off, the campaign is also working on giving back to its community. The campaign will host a pet supply drive for the Moore Animal Shelter."We started off simple. We're going to get larger and ask the community to help more," Davis said.Click here for information on how to donate and to find the location for the Farmers Insurance involved.
