Traffic is slow on the A500 following a crash. The busy stretch between Jack Mills Way and the Nantwich by-pass was closed shortly before 6pm. The road reopened but there is also a lane closure in the eastbound direction. Traffic monitoring company INRIX said: "A500 Westbound closed due to accident between B5071 Jack Mills Way (The Station Pilot, Shavington) and A51 Nantwich Bypass (Cheerbrook Roundabout, Willaston). Traffic is coping well. "The road has been closed since 17:40. There is also a lane closure heading eastbound the A5020 and the B5071." We will bring more as we get it in the feed below.
