RED BANK - After she got word that the future of the Red Bank Senior Center was in jeopardy, Freda Terry decided to make the eight-hour drive from her home in Raleigh, North Carolina to join a rally here to save it.
Terry spent a decade as the center's director and watched seniors come to the center to play bingo, socialize and have access to inexpensive meals, all while overlooking the Navesink River.
