Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9 Prime back in August in India. To those unaware, Xiaomi sells the same smartphone as Redmi 9 in other markets. Redmi 9 Prime’s POCO sibling, POCO M2 started receiving MIUI 12 global stable update in India a couple of weeks ago. Now, Xiaomi has started rolling out MIUI 12 stable update for Redmi 9 Prime users in India. With this update, Xiaomi concludes MIUI 12 roll-out for all it’s Redmi 9 series devices in India.
Redmi 9 Prime MIUI 12 Stable update comes as MIUI 12.0.1.0.QJCINXM, weighs 608MBs in size and brings December Android security patch to the device along with MIUI 12.
