Strabala made these remarks in a video that is part of the "Shanghai Through Our Eyes" series, which was released by the Information Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government in April to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. In the video, Marshall called the three skyscrapers in Shanghai - Jinmao Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center and Shanghai Tower – special, noting that they represent the city's past, present and future respectively.
