Employee Benefits 1st February 2021 10:32 am New research by employee benefits provider Edenred suggests staff are dissatisfied with the level of support they are getting from their organisation â with lockdown benefits branded ânot fit for purposeâ. The research, which questioned 2,000 UK employees, found employers were seen to be falling short in the areas of reward (32%) and recognition (21%), for their staffâs work during the pandemic. Dissatisfaction with reward and recognition was also mirrored by a sense of lack of support for mental health – identified by one-in-four respondents. The study further found HR policy and employee benefits provision was out of step with what employees needed for their new working patterns. Just over a half of respondents said their employer was doing well in this area.
