In 2019, the Lafourche Parish Public Library received more than a half million visits from community members, whether in the library for a book, movie, magazine, research help, reference assistance, access to a computer and the Internet, or any number of other reasons. The year 2020 has been a different story. We understand, however, that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some users might not have returned to the library. Lafourche library branches reopened several months ago, and the library staff is working diligently to keep branches safe for those who want to visit. For those who are hesitant to visit in person, or who just can’t make it in, we offer an array of resources to enjoy from home. Curbside service is also still available at all Lafourche Parish Public Library branches.
