A CGI released by Fairview New Homes of the revised scheme in St Albans Road A developer has unveiled revised proposals to redevelop a former bus garage in Garston. Fairview New Homes is on course to submit a new scheme to demolish the former Arriva garage in St Albans Road and replace it with 127 flats. The developer has previously seen plans for 165 flats on this land knocked back by both Watford Borough Council and a government planning inspector. Both had concerns about the size of the proposal, while some councillors had concerns about the amount of affordable housing proposed, and the loss of a locally listed building.
