Our March 2021 practice of the month is John Stebbing Architects (JSA). We spoke to Tom Stebbing, Director, and son of Practice Founder, John Stebbing about their diverse portfolio of social and developer-led housing and community projects, schools, and religious buildings. 24 February 2021 In the early days, JSA was mainly focused on small scale social housing projects, but since 1983 we have grown to become a practice to whom community groups and individuals, often those whose first language is not English, can turn to for all sorts of specialist help. We take time to support people who perhaps do not understand the "system" we have for building in the UK, and we also help planning authorities who sometimes lack understanding about the special needs of certain minority groups.
