DCIM100MEDIADJI_0136.JPG DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The St. Louis County Public Works reconstruction of the Rice Lake Road has been honored as the Best in Class for 2020 by the Minnesota Asphalt Pavement Association. The project involved the reconstructing of more than a half mile of the Rice Lake Road and improving the intersection of Arlington Avenue with the Rice Lake and Arrowhead Roads. The 4 million dollar project in partnership with the City of Duluth improved traffic flow and safety. It was completed in the fall of last year.
