Richland Rams students are heading back to classrooms. Citing a downward trend in COVID-19 cases in Cambria County and across the commonwealth, Superintendent Arnold Nadonley and Director of Educational Services Brandon Bailey said the school district returns to partial in-person instruction Jan. 5. They plan to use a hybrid model that alternates which days the students will attend to limit class sizes. "However, there is a possibility that we return to a full instructional model prior to that if conditions improve locally," the Richland School District administrators said in the written statement. According to Nadonley and Bailey, the change impacts all students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Parents can opt to keep their children in remote learning if they choose.
