RICHMOND, Ind. — The Richmond Farmers Market returns Saturday to Jack Elstro Plaza, and it's expected to be bigger and better than ever.
Farmers Market staff expects more vendors and customers as the summer market opens from 8 a.m.-noon Saturday after spending the winter inside the Starr Gennett Building, according to a news release. New vendors have joined familiar vendors in registering for the market.
"The past year has certainly shown us that it's more important than ever to support our local businesses," said Caleb Smith, the market's coordinator for the Parks and Recreation Department. "We're so excited to return to our home at Elstro Plaza, and hope that everyone will make the time to get out and support our local farmers and makers."
