Scraper Systems, the company announced today.The terms of the deal were not disclosed.The Pennsylvania-based manufacturer’s automated snow removal system, FleetPlow, can clear rooftop ice and snow from fleets in all sectors of the transportation industry, including trucks, vans, buses and sea containers.Scraper Systems says its products can reduce operator fines as well as the risk of property damage and personal injury to motorists from dislodged rooftop snow flying from vehicles. The system can also reduce fuel costs associated with extra snow weight, according to a press release.“We believe Scraper Systems’ patented designs and commitment to quality will enhance Rite-Hite’s mission to improve industrial safety worldwide,” Rite-Hite chief operating officer Chuck Waugaman said in a statement. “We are excited to welcome the Scraper Systems team into the Rite-Hite organization.”Rite-Hite had already been selling Scraper System products through its subsidiary
