Road maintenance will be taking place on Saskatchewan Drive South in Melfort starting Sunday. Work will be occurring from the railway crossing at the Canalta Hotel to the southern city limits. The maintenance is expected to take approximately two or three days to finish. Two-way traffic will be routed to one side of the road or detoured to the service roads while the work is completed. “Motorists should slow down and watch for workers along the road and follow the detour signs if travelling in this area,” a release from the City of Melfort stated, “Thank you for your patience while we make improvements in our city.”
