Education leaders in Rockingham County are considering a virtual option for younger students in the upcoming school year.During Monday night's school board work session, the Board of Education discussed opening an e-learning academy for grades 4-8.This would be for families that prefer virtual learning to in-person.The academy would be capped at 50 students per grade level.Right now, it's only available for high schoolers.A spokesperson says they will probably vote on it during the next board meeting, scheduled for February 8th.
