ROCKLAND — Ten people have been displaced by a fire that broke out at a multi-family house in Rockland Saturday afternoon, according to officials. According to WCVB, Rockland Fire Chief Scott Duffey says the hot weather made the fire at the Pacific Street home difficult to fight. Video from the scene showed the intense flames that firefighters encountered when they arrived at the scene. First responders from 10 communities assisted the Rockland Fire Department in its efforts to knock down the flames. "It's an extremely hot day today, so we want to make sure we had enough personnel on scene to rotate crews and to keep everyone safe," Duffey said.
