LA Junta Tribune The Rocky Ford School District hosted its monthly Board of Education meeting on April 6 at the district office. In the superintendent's report, Dr. Kermit Snyder said that there will be a summer school session of three weeks in June. Summer school will start on June 7 and end June 25, and it will take place from 8 a.m. to noon Mondays through Fridays. Each school will identify about 60 students to attend. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with limited transportation. Update on Colorado education potential budget Snyder also reported on the state revenue forecast, saying the Legislative Council forecast a projected 1.1% reduction in fiscal year 2020-21 with a strong rebound projected for the 2021-22 academic year. He said that it was a much smaller reduction than past recessions.
