Rolls-Royce Motor Cars delivered its highest ever first quarter sales figures in its 116-year history this year. Showing that a pandemic is no detraction for well-heeled motorists after their next Rolls, the luxury car maker delivered 1,380 cars to customers in the first quarter. This is 62 per cent more than over the same period a year ago, and even beats the group's previous first quarter sales record set in 2019. 'We've responded to recent challenges with our customary boldness', Rolls-Royce Motor Cars boss Torsten Müller-Ötvös said Rolls, which sells its motors all over the world, said demand for its models had been 'extremely buoyant', with the Ghost model launched last year a buyer favourite.
