Bobby Shmurda could finally be home soon. Rowdy Rebel took to Instagram on Wednesday (February 17) to let everyone know he expects his GS9 brother to be released from prison on February 23, if all goes according to plan in the coming days. He wrote in the caption, “SIX DAYS LFET Then all the joy gone wash away the pain, I promise you brother #stillfreegs9 #freeskrap1090.”
According to a New York jail inmate lookup, Shmurda — born Ackquille Pollard — earned himself a conditional release date of February 23. He was previously denied parole by a judge in September 2020. Upon regaining his freedom, the “Hot N*gga” rapper’s file also states he’ll be under post-release supervision for the next five years.
