Well i think that obviously theres a big difference jesse between the way we got into the 2000 a crisis versus how we have found ourselves kind of in the middle of this coronavirus pandemic crisis but the thing that makes these 2 things very similar is that number one in both cases the economy was already over leveraged and in both cases wall street was pumping up the value of things that didnt really have those values we can get into more into that later but the reality is is that the other thing thats income these 2 instances have in common is that when we get to the end of the road when we get to where the government steps in and says we need to save industries and bail out industries and we need to save the American Economy the thing that comes out the same in 2008 as now in 2020 is that the Biggest Companies will get the most money those who need it the least will get the most and those who need it the most will get nothing and thats what were seeing play out right now even though weve had all these promises of how you know the congress is going to help and theyre going to send checks and are going to help Small Business and the Small Business administration is going to get involved and banks are going to help what were finding is that Small Businesses are not getting help they were told one thing and another thing is happening we see that banks are taking advantage and we see Major Industries that should be going bankrupt because it would not ultimately put them out of business to go bankrupt receiving billions of dollars in aid while Small Business owners are looking to go under the bed why is this happening why does our government kowtow to the Biggest Industries and leave the Small Businesses behind to let them expire or what your opinion on that. Now when you look at their situation with the Big Companies and the little companies out there do you think theres any play in the fact that the Big Companies provide more money to elect these officials in the democratic and republican parties oh absolutely no no question about it thats why listen theres special interest all over the map we know that and youve talked about this for years you know that both parties are completely beholden to corporations in every way we know that and so you see like little examples of it for instance you know when when the original 2 children went through you had Companies Like loreal who were receiving special money to make sunscreen because they were in you know Mitch Mcconnells home state of kentucky and so factories there could make sunscreen as part of this youre always going to have pork built into it which is just a gross misuse but i think this is a great example just like we saw in 2008 where its not about pork its about actually controlling the entire economy these companies yes they get they get their people elected but its more than that its the fact that these entities big banks are able to come in and say were going to completely control the way the system works were going to control how it works think about the contrast of headlines that just happened the other day the contrast of the dow ringback is going back up and wall street is making his story gains again while simultaneously the headlines are coming up that another 6000000 people are now filing for unemployment how is wall street moving up while were looking at right now unemployment of unemployment claims excuse me of over 20000000 people in just 3 to 4 weeks that is a study number but it shows you theres a huge disconnect between what it actually means to be employed in this country and what it means to be on wall street.
