Well my biggest takeaway is the news you just gave me that drugs passed and 9 states you know i was looking at their selection and really kind of depressed over it like i think many are you you suffer from anxiety and now boom it happens and all that but to hear that news that is the best news to come out of an election that i can tell you maybe in my lifetime that we will finally take a step forward to ending the war on drugs and its stop people who are speaking and now lets see if the government hears them or not truthfully but on another note i think it was what was interesting to me is that the is that the polls were so off again they were off 4 years ago and now this time i mean they were talking about a blue serge and a blue wave and the dems are going to control the all of the branches of government that didnt happen it basic. Came down to 5050 in my opinion 50 percent of us believe in the pandemic 50 percent of us believe in our pocket book and the economy and thats how they voted you know because i thought the pandemic may unite us like a war sometimes unites the people this pandemic has severed us and caused this even more split in the polarization. And leading up to the election there was a lot of accusations by both sides of trying to cheat or gerrymander their way to a victory just last night to to the airwaves claiming fraudulent ballots john have you think anything this week that would make you believe that there is election manipulation taking place by either party. You know nothing nothing at all you know interestingly enough to this is of course not the 1st time that the president has complained about that and it really shouldnt and people cheating at the polls and every once in a while somebody gets arrested and they get they get themselves charged with voting twice or voting in a district thats not theirs but they tend to be republicans and they tend to be people who for example there was a woman in in iowa who voted twice for a dumb trump because she said she wanted to cancel out the Illegal Immigrants who were voting for Hillary Clinton so you know we hear this nonsense every once in a while nothing ever comes of it there was a great interview today on c. N. N. With Governor Scott walker the former governor republican governor of wisconsin saying that there have been 2 recounts in the last 10 years in his state of wisconsin one of them flipped 300 votes one of them flipped 117 votes theyre not going to flip 35000 votes so no i dont think that theres any evidence really whatsoever of voter fraud or voter manipulation or anything that can swing this ellipse. Jesse kind of mentioned talked about it earlier but i want to ask you you know the seams of the biggest loser on tuesday night was the u. S. Governments war on drugs i mean was a no no i in the states decriminalized or legalized measures i mean i mean you got oregon over there which essentially decriminalized all drugs including heroin cocaine meth john is the is this a real beginning of the end of the war on drugs and why do you believe u. S. Citizens are saying is enough is enough. I think it is actually. One of the things that my friends know about me is that im im addicted to 1960 s. Cop shows i love them 12 and i love dragnet and i are them and i watch them every single day and theyre little microcosms into into the world that once was you know they talk about for example marijuana cigarettes and other narcotics and i chuckle every time i see well there are. We cant we cant handle the the cost of cracking down on everybody who wants to smoke a little weed or or take a mushroom in the privacy of. His or her own home weve turned ourselves into a police state because of this ridiculous and socalled war on drugs its its about im finally dead that people grow up that letter dont do with me want to do in the privacy of their own homes. And let me add very quickly to what to john miller and it also eliminates things like the Briana Taylor murder because that is wrong have you dont have people coming in blasting down doors with no knock warrants fighting the war on drugs you know your grandmother told me something very interesting before she passed she said the war on drugs is identical to the prohibition of alcohol which she lived through with al capone and all those people she said its the same thing youre making criminals rich and powerful by making them illegal and thats exactly all youre doing. And jesse one of the more interesting states in the 2020 president ial election bar has been alaska which as of this broadcast heads for life without ever even officially running in the election and jeff a libertarian candidate Joe Jorgensen if heading towards the 2nd best showing her party has ever had meanwhile hawkins and the green party appear to lose pretty big across the country what are your thoughts on the state of their party if coming out of the 2020 election. Well this truly was the year to have a 3rd party with but there were no parties Strong Enough out there with any candidates to create any type of excitement because the reason was you had negatives on both sides that were so high you had people saying well im voting against trump or i you know i dont want that old Sleepy Joe Biden and. But the point was the 3rd Party Movement had no one to offer them anything and theres a growing signal out there thats happening right now called the Peoples Party and its starting to rise up and its. Getting celebrities like susan saran bad and people of notoriety that are politically motivated like that are looking for a 3rd party because what you saw this year truly was picking the lesser of 2 evils john i want to get your take on 3rd parties and even this 2 in nevada as we are waiting for the results to come in it was really interesting if you take a look at the breakdown but essentially none of the above has got like 10000 votes in the state of nevada right now should joe and i know just as you talked about this quite a bit but i want to ask john john should we include none of the above on more ballots across the country because right now that 10000 that makes or breaks the election between joe biden and donald trump and about i mean theyre only separated as of this broadcast by only about 8 or 10000 votes and then youve got none of these candidates getting 10000 votes whats your take on that. Oh i think we should have none of the above on ballots and i think we should have all of the 3rd Political Parties the minor Political Parties we should make Ballot Access far easier than it is now and you know i want to Say Something too about social media i was very proud to be one of the original members of the draft Jesse Ventura for president facebook. That our governor that were decided not to run for president but you know with social media used the way it is it i did make it a little easier to organize these 3rd parties what they struggle with the sites financing obviously is Ballot Access and so its youve got a 3rd party that people can rally around if you have social media that can promote that 3rd party and you dont want to work for the lesser or vote rather for the lesser of 2 evils because remember the lesser of 2 evils is still evil then go with a 3rd party i think we desperately desperately need a 3rd party in this country. You know this doowop really doesnt work try ive complained to you in the past that in my view there really isnt much of a difference between the Democratic Party in the Republican Party you can team to round the edges i guess but it went when it comes to these major issues like the role of capitalism in our economy like issues of war and peace and committing troops to foreign foreign wars theres really no difference between the democrats and the republicans and thats why we need a viable 3rd party.
