You lecture on it and have spoken out many times about campus sexual abuse in the era of need to why do you think campus sexual abuse . Like what weve seen it eludes you, is that being taken seriously. Unfortunately, sexual abuse, Sexual Violence<\/a> against women in particular isnt something that individual stakes seriously. Even post need to, as we saw today, was largely about morphed into focusing on very wealthy prominent white women and experiences that they had with one particular individual or a series of individuals. And yet, when it comes to society at large and the world in which we need to live is just a common occurrence of every day. Actually getting some kind of action to be taken on your behalf. You know, one of the many important questions here is what liability is there for universities that just sweep sexual abuse under the rug. I mean that schools like, you know, as you were so much money, years made from having a top football team. Unfortunately i do think that definitely plays a role in part because its not individual brings considerable power to the table even if its just by virtue of their athletic skills. The fact is that they generate money for this school. As weve seen recently with the movements weve seen on our society, especially those that are are right extremist, and we see them being based upon its kind of very neat, toxic masculinity. We have in felt proud to waynes, all of these individuals coming together that are essentially invested in subjugating women. And now particularly young people, all those that are on their way into college are unfortunate to be indoctrinated by that because we hear it being the association. Me and when you gents, they see the pride in that and they want to be a part of it. So they bring that with them to a college culture. And when you do not have any kind or cautions in twentys and also a student ministration, that is ensuring that its taking Sexual Violence<\/a> seriously. All youre going to continue to have is victimizing, stand without any kind of accountability. You mentioned earlier, your title in the trumpet, ministration member, but she did bosses department of education kind of point crossed and loose with campus Sexual Assault<\/a> and the rules around it and how people can comply back against a common issues and Sexual Assault<\/a> are under reporting. You know, the victim and perpetrator relationships and lacks a policy of force within the schools. You know, what can be done at a federal government level to campuses Sexual Assault<\/a> and within the university itself there needs to be a crackdown. The need to be more investigation and also penalties issued. What weve seen with alice miller is that the department of education under the Obama Administration<\/a> had launched a sex discrimination investigation into that school back on august 28th. Meaning by, unfortunately, that investigation where he dropped the Trump Administration<\/a> in july 20 5th at was because the individual didnt want to cooperate anymore. But the reality is thats a 3 year spanning investigation. That individual had probably graduated college at that point in time. Because if you do not seek to render justice in an extent, in fashion, conducting these investigations in an expedient fashion, to make sure that you get the information you need and come to a conclusion, then youre just essential. And you know, people are going to want to contribute any more they want to move on with their lives. So actually having that investment where you have investigations and that there are penalties that can go a long way in terms of so topping this Sexual Violence<\/a>, rape culture that is going on in the college campuses. And agent, is there anything that can be done in terms of empowering the women . Because oftentimes we talk about, you know, what we want to see happen to the guys in the perpetrators. But there are still women who are battered and bruised and go through their lives, carrying on the trauma of having this happen to them, regardless of what ends up happening to the perpetrators themselves. What is your, or what one of you talked about at some of your sessions in some of your writings around what young women can do to help you know, move forward after Something Like<\/a> this is tragically happened to them. Everybodys journey and a friend, an individual and you need to band and they have to do what works for them. Whether its speaking out or in counseling, but definitely knowing your options and being cognizant of a side effect and how it can impact your lying. And being aware of that and thinking the support that you need back can go the distance. But i think the main goal is to focus on individuals or the rank ers, as they know theyre the problem and not the women. And if you dont, it should not fall on them to fix the situation. Could the group you more than other does, one of the biggest problems we see in the male side of culture is the word and you know that men are not stepping forward to police themselves at a rate that needs to happen in order for movements like me to and moving beyond what we saw happen at all as you are.
