A breakthrough in the case came in February after a public appeal the month before. Stanley Ceismann was arrested in Maroubra on February 23 and charged with 20 offences, including stealing the black BMW that was used in the Denham Court shooting. Then at around 5pm yesterday, tactical police and investigators targeting Sydney's crime gangs swooped on Luke Sparos in his Surry Hills home. They found multiple items inside the 40-year-old's home that they believe are linked to last year's shooting. Mr Sparos was taken to Surry Hills Police Station, where he was charged with shooting with intent to murder. He's also been charged with tampering with evidence with the intent to mislead a judicial tribunal.
