Saudi Arabia Calls for Comprehensive Reforms at UN Security

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah called on Thursday for introducing comprehensive reforms at the United Nations Security Council whereby “participation and representation would be expanded” at the international body. Speaking on the sidelines of the 78th UN General Assembly session in New York, at a ministerial meeting to prepare for the Summit of the Future in September 2024, he also called for bolstering the Security Council’s response to crises.
