Scholarship Created In Memory Of OFA Student Owego Free Academy has announced a new scholarship in the name of one of its fallen students, Abby Mae Luffman. Abby Luffman was a 16 year old student at OFA when she tragically passed away last year from a rare blood disorder called Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura. Get our free mobile app According to a News release from Owego Free Academy, Abby had plans to start a career in the medical healthcare field, and had always wanted to help others. Even in her passing she helped saved lives by donating organs to two individuals. The Abby Mae Luffman Memorial Scholarship was created to help, others who aspire to be in the medical field.
