Staff at English Martyrs Catholic Voluntary Academy in Oakham put together wellbeing bags for all their families ahead of half-term.
Headteacher, Alison Chambers, wanted to say thank you to all the families for working incredibly hard to juggle home-schooling and working from home since January and approached local organisations to help contribute to the bags.
The Rotary Club of Rutland generously donated £150 to buy yoyos and colouring pencils for each bag, Gates Garden Centre donated packets of sunflower seeds for each family, Lidl provided some snacks and drinks and Root and Branch Out donated some edible goodies as well. The bags also contained some mindfulness colouring sheets, ideas to keep active over half-term from Active Rutland, some recipe ideas and a list of films that families could watch together.
