Schools across Winsford pay tribute to Captain Sir Tom Moore

BEFORE they broke up for half term, children across several schools in Winsford paid tribute to the late Captain Sit Tom Moore.
Many of the schools used themes based around the number 100, which was the number of laps Sir Tom completed in his garden during the first lockdown which raised a staggering £32million for the NHS.
At Oak View Academy, children in each class took part in a challenge to collectively contribute to the completion of their own 100 laps, which varied from laps around the classroom for the younger children to laps around the playground for those that little bit older.
