For three-time world gold medallist Schwarz and his rivals this will be the last opportunity to compete before the International Ski Federation (FIS) Alpine World Ski Championships, which are set to be held in Cortina d’Ampezzo in Italy from February 9 to 21. On Tuesday (January 26), the 25-year-old from Villach, who won team silver at the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics, secured his second FIS Alpine Ski World Cup victory of the season at the famous night slalom on home snow at Schladming.
